5G3i edge platform is developed as a technology demonstration and rapid prototype deployment for validation of requirements. It is designed as a framework to enable quick discovery of anomalies in sensed data and the sensor devices leading to a rapid system response or compensation such as the activation of redundant sensory nodes. It can also demonstrate sensor fusion in real-time enabling significant improvement in fault verification and "Intelligent feedback" from sensor nodes. Processing multiple sensor inputs locally, 5G3i platform will enable improved measurement integrity & fault detection whilst dramatically reducing data transmission requirements.
